Solo charity walk around Britain
to raise £100,000

As soon as the lockdown was announced on the 30th October, I started to find otherways of raising money. By mid-November, I decided that I was going to make some Christmas wreaths outside our house for sale.

With the help of my daughter and husband, I purchased some craft making equipment and made my very first Christmas wreath. To start with, it was quite a new thing for me but once I had made one or two I became quite efficant. I bought the rings and some of the other items to decorate them with from a craft shop, and accumilated all the green from the local woodland and friends. I had great fun making them as each one would turn out differently.

One lady bought four, and even said she’d ‘see me next year’!

To my amazement, I have sold every single one, right up to today. I have sold 29 wreaths, with a total amount raised of £290.00.
